My Work:
My collection of work centers around the complexities of the human mind and the individualistic difficulties that can evolve from social and economic factors in our current world. My work treads the thin line between exposing the stereotypes formed around specific mental health disorders and bringing to light the challenges many victims of mental dilemmas face during the healing process. Fueled by personal trauma surrounding this subject, my artwork acts as an outlet to utilize traditional and digital forms of media and grant representation to those enduring similar experiences. In each of my art pieces, the negative emotions intertwined with certain psychological conditions are encapsulated within my subjects’ composition, color scheme, and dynamism. Each work includes an allegorical meaning determined based on the context of the content matter being tackled in said piece. Applying symbolism throughout my work has enhanced the significance of each art piece I create and strengthens the connection between my work and its parallel reality.
